Zimbabwean Opposition political activist has died. Dr Dzamara was diagnosed with colon cancer recently and was seeking assistance in raising about USD28.000.
Dzamara, who passed away this morning recently announced that he had cancer of the colon and a GoFundMe campaign was created to assist him to pay the operation. A social media activist who is famously known for fighting for the return of his abducted brother Itai Dzamara, he was a also an unrelenting Zimbabwean government critic.

Nigel Chanakira, who had been one of the trustees for the Fund raising disclosed that USD14.000 had been raised and Dzamara dies just ahead of a scheduled operation.
